  This place is family friendly with lots of televisions for watching games. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant.
  I ordered the Cali burger. It was out in good time. The burger as well as the sweet potato fries were toasty hot. This burger was so big. It was a fight against gravity trying to hold it together. Good thing it was delicious as it became a struggle of trying not to inhale the burger as it fell apart into my mouth.
  This place is great. I'd suggest it and come here again. Something about the smell tho. Not that it's terrible. Just like it's been around for a really long time without shampooing the carpets is all. But still. Great selections of get on tap and good food. This place is still a win in my book.

  This place won my heart! Unexpected but it's an old placd with great Live music, great service, free cupcakes as you wait on your food and drinks and really good tasting food! What else I could have asked for after a terrible experience in a bar just 30 mins ago!! So yes, I could be partial right now.. but I really liked this place!
  
  The drinks were great! Live music yesterday (Friday night) by the two old guys in guitar.. loved it! "sweet Caroline..." awesome singers!
  
  I would come back again!

  The food itself could be a 4 almost 5. 5 is like mind blowing. Service is what took it to a 3. And service was actually a 1 or 2.
  We are from out of town and we're recommend it was a place with good food. That part is correct.
  We walked in and asked for a booth. The host looked extremely confused. Started looking around, had to turn around and ask someone something. Then frantically looked back at us and told us booths are only for groups of 4. We were two with a possible 3rd coming.
  So that was fine but she didn't need to be so dramatic. I then said a high top would be fine. And asked if the half booth half high top was available. But she didn't listen and almost took us to a low table. Which I had to say again that a high top would be okay. She sat us down with menus and walked away.
  Customer service seems to not even matter anymore.
  The waitress was sweet.  Seemed like she was annoyed mostly but put on a good fake smile.
  The food runner comes out in a dirty sweatshirt and drops the food and runs off. I mean they are food runners. But I tried to ask for ranch. Which I finally got from someone else, not out server because she never took the time to check in until we were over half way
  finished.
  The food itself was great. The clam chowder was tasty and the BLAT was good. I will go back if ever in town and give it another try. The beer list was a great selection.

  Today was our worst experience ever. We have always enjoyed going to the Rockhouse but this morning "Game Day Sunday" they were not prepared. They had 1 staff person doing it all! Bar tending, waiting tables, delivering the food.  The poor woman was attempting to handle it all by herself with at least 50 people there.
  They have a special game day menu that doesn't really work! The breakfast burrito is not a burrito but a quesadilla.  no pancakes, French toast, ...an order of strawberries never came sat in the chefs window. Food orders sat for what seemed like an eternity. The 1 woman trying to keep it all running kudos to her for trying. The other gentleman was only interested in setting up the  TV's. We won't be back.

  Is it possible to give this place no stars?
  
  I had never been to this place before but based on the ratings it seemed to be a good spot to kick off the first week of the NFL season. Oh, was I so wrong.
  *A food order that was canceled by us after a  90 minute wait. We were told the chef walked out. WTF??
  * My girl and I were acknowledged at the bar after 20 minutes. Busy for a football Sunday but only one bartender? Cmon.
  * Wait staff in the bar area was overwhelmed so much so that one of them went behind the bar and snuck a few chugs of white wine.
  
  We were told the owners were in the building at the time. However, nothing was changing.  People were walking out and the handful of people that remained had no food and no drinks.
  
  I'm shocked this place is still open.  We heard from many people the food was good but service was slow. Even moreso today.
  
  Management should be ashamed at how crappy they run this place. Staff not showing up and staff leaving middle of shift says something about how
  they do business. What a disgrace.
